For those looking at buying a DVD recorder. Panasonic has released the
Panasonic DMR-E500 with a massive 400Gb hard drive for the Japan/US market. One can only hope we in Australia don't get a smaller hard drive model like with the other hard drive models. That would sure beat shuffling DVD-RAM discs. Too bad I don't have the
