I noticed something strange while playing a movie last night. The
movie played fine until about 20 mins to the end. The screen suddenly
froze, then the picture moved after a few seconds, then froze again.
Pressing FF did nothing.
The picture then moved again for 1 second, then stopped. Repeatedly
pressing Play or FF, suddenly brought up a flashing C:13:00.

I took out the dvd, cleaned it and played it again. Went to the same
spot. Same thing happened again. This time the picture moved some
more, "broke up", then stopped. Pressed FF. The player turned itself
off.

I then tried it on my APEX 1200 player. No problems at all. I watched
the movie till the end.

So, is something wrong with my Sony 530? Was it a bad DVD and the
player cannot handle scratches, etc?
One thing I noticed is that the Sony player was pretty warm at the end
of playing the DVD.
Any one seen this before? I have not had this happen on this player
with other DVDs.
