Default Sky channels and no adverts? (sky)

I'd just like to know the following; is any SKY channel advertising
"free"?

I mean for example Sky Movie Cinema, when are the adverts shown and
how many are there usually during one movie, and ofcourse, do they
last for minute, two, five?

Thanx!

I'm sure that Sky charge for their adverts. They certainly wouldn't do it
for nothing.

Rene said this:

On the Sky Movies channels, they do not show any adverts during a film. They
only show adverts between films.

Also, they don't show adverts during live sporting events on Sky Sports
except during pre-defined pauses in action (e.g. half-time). However, they
sometimes show adverts during re-runs of previous sporting events.

Just look at Sky as a worse platform than ITV,Channel 4 and 5...ALL the
channels advertise the only difference is you pay for the service :-(

Another point is at least Channel 5 removed their DOG...I doubt any Sky
channel would (apart from the movie channels that make up between one films
end and anothers start in advertising even though there's no DOGS!)

No adverts on movie channels, but still annoying voiceovers usually the
moment the end titles begin.

Lucky Germans have advert-free channels like ARTE, TheaterK**** and 3Sat,
and many others too, all run with thought to the viewer, and not all greed
greed greed.
