A very old box that don't work, yes. Nearer €30 for a half-decent
working one. Anyway, to answer the OP question - if you get the box installed somewhere in UK and take it with you, chance of discovery is zilch. However, there are lot's of better packages than Sky and you could still watch BBC/ITV etc. Irma Inviato da X-Privat.Org - Registrazione gratuita http://www.x-privat.org/join.php |

Total bollox you f**king troll!
The box won't connect from France unless you add the international codes etc. The answer is to get the card activated before taking the box abroad, then "forget" to connect the phone cable. Irma Inviato da X-Privat.Org - Registrazione gratuita http://www.x-privat.org/join.php |

In message <449bb1a3$0$7763$7a628cd7@news.club-internet.fr>, gilbert
<gmorain@club-internet.fr> writes Many thousands (if not millions?) of Digiboxes in the UK aren't connected to the phone - the ONLY ones which matter are multi-room subscriptions, where ALL boxes have to be permanently connected to the same phone line. There's no technical reason for the phone connection, only a contractual one with BSkyB. -- Nigel. /------------------------------------------------------------\ | Nigel Goodwin | E-Mail : nigelg@lpilsley.co.uk | | Lower Pilsley | Website : http://www.lpilsley.co.uk | | Chesterfield | Author of WinPicProg | | England | http://www.winpicprog.co.uk | \------------------------------------------------------------/ |

I already answered - contractually, yes, Sky can disconnect you. In
reality the chances of this happening are near to zero. I say this despite what trolls/muppets like Erasmus said earlier. Of course, bare in mind that you won't be able to order PPV over the phone line. Irma Inviato da X-Privat.Org - Registrazione gratuita http://www.x-privat.org/join.php |
