It mentions a New LE,I wonder if it will be 2.35:1 I know Storaro likes
2.1(or 2) and he might crop it to that.
The Godfather films are listed too.

"Steve Beeks, Artisan's president, says a new version of 'The Last
Emperor,' mastered from [Bernardo] Bertolucci's personal print, will come
out next year..."

....and...

"Paramount is making new digital masters of the 'Godfather' films for
reissue, as single-film discs, late next year....according to a Paramount
executive, who asked not to be named, the studio has hired an outsider,
John Lowry, to re-do the 'Godfather' discs."

And what will this have as an improvement over the Super Dooper Deluxe
"Godfather Trilogy" set that we all purchased just one year ago? (One
which, I should say, I have no regrets at all with.)

Probably nothing, but I imagine they figure on selling at least the
first film to people who didn't want to buy all three. Or more likely,
the first and second films to people who didn't want the third.
