Completely new to satellite receiver. I discovered that during auto
scan, my receiver found 1 new tv channel(TRACE) and 1 radio
I am in India. I purchased DD Direct dish which gives 43 FTA channels
Can somebody help me to set FTA channels of other countries?

Look at lyngsat.com to see which satellites you can receive and what FTA
programs they transmit.
From there, figure out if your equipment can receive this, and what you
need to do (point disk elsewhere, buy a motor, …)

I figured out that my dish is pointed at new skies satellite 6(nss6) on
95 degrees east. If i do not move dish, i can receive only those FREE
channels which are available on transponders on nss6.
But why i see names of 14 transponders on screen? Newskies.Com states
that there are 50 transponders on nss6.
And i don’t understand all tech stuff like ku band!

They are probably not used. Can you compare what you receive with the
channels shown on a pale yellow background on
http://www.lyngsat.com/nss6.html ? Pale yellow means ‘digital
transmission, not encrypted’.
The channels on http://www.lyngsat.com/in3b.html would be possible if
you move the dish (but they are far fewer channels).
Ku band are the high frequencies that can be receives with a small dish.
These frequencies range from roughly 10000-13000 MHz.
C-band is 3-5 Ghz roughly.

Auto scan allows me to set LOCAL frequency in MHz upto 5 digits. Now
set to 00999 mhz. It has found CGNTV HONG. But this channel appears
even if i set it to, say 012000 mhz.
Why don’t i find other free channels like news 1 (thailand) appearing
in pale yellow in your lyngsat link?
BTW, i found radio channels RA ELP, RA FLP, OMSHANTI.
What is local frequency? How to add new transponder?
