Thanks Anders. I find this information most interesting!

The blogger, (Ben Wener, has been writing about pop music for the Orange
County Register since spring 1995)
says that Steve Fryer, high school sports columnist and rock music critic at
the Register, has recieved a survey email from Live Nation about shaping up
a 2008 'DC tour.

If Live Nation (former Clear Channel) is actually behind the said survey,
there's no doubt there will be a tour next year.

(In 2005, Live Nation promoted or produced over 28,500 events, including
music concerts, theatrical shows, specialized motor sports and other events,
with total attendance exceeding 61 million. As of September 30, 2005, Live
Nation owned or operated 117 venues, consisting of 75 US and 42
international venues. In addition, through equity, booking or similar
arrangements Live Nation has the right to book events at 33 additional
venues)

Here in Austria there are strong rumours, that AC/DC will play either
the Nova Rock Festival or two nights in the Stadthalle in Vienna (as
they did on the SUL tour). Plus I contacted Sony-BMG Austria and they
told me that an album should be released in late summer/autumn '08.

Man, the world is a small place today. A fan in....Norway/Sweden/
Finland??? of a semi-retired band from Australia, that now lives in
England, Florida, Belgium and New Zealand, breaks the news from a
Southern Califonia source about rumors (again) of a new tour, and
relays this news to fans world-wide with a couple clicks of a mouse.

OK, so the news isn't something we haven't heard countless times, but
the thought of how fast this rumor has gone around the world just hit
home to me LOL
