Default Five bands that defined the 70s sound and quite probably most of rock music

And they are in no order...

Black Sabbath
Deep Purple
Led Zeppelin
Pink Floyd
Yes

And they all started about the same time (the pyschedelic era of 67-70)
and have the same number of classic STUDIO albums (6).

Black Sabbath: Black Sabbath, Paranoid, Master of Reality, Vol4,
Sabbath Bloody Sabotage, Sabotage

Deep Purple: Shades of Deep Purple, Deep Purple, The Book of Taliesyn,
Deep Purple in Rock, Fireball and Machine Head

Led Zeppelin: Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin II, Led Zeppelin IV, Untitled
album, Houses of the Holy, Physical Graffiti

Pink Floyd: The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, Meddle, The Dark Side of
the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Wall

Yes: The Yes Album, Fragile, Close to the Edge, Tales from Topographic
Oceans, Relayer, Going for the One

Just getting bored and these 5 bands happen to be most of my 5 favorite
bands
