finally a greatest hits collection from Sabbath.

Rhino has set a March 14 release date for a new collection from BLACK
SABBATH, entitled "Greatest Hits 1970-1978". Executive produced by Sharon
Osbourne, the CD contains 16 monster hits from the original BLACK SABBATH,
with over 80 minutes of remastered musical mayhem.

"Greatest Hits 1970-1978" track listing:

01. Black Sabbath
02. N.I.B.
03. The Wizard
04. War Pigs
05. Paranoid
06. Iron Man
07. Sweet Leaf
08. Children Of The Grave
09. Changes
10. Snowblind
11. Supernaut
12. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
13. Hole In The Sky
14. Rock 'N' Roll Doctor
15. Never Say Die
16. Dirty Women

As previously reported, BLACK SABBATH will finally be inducted into the Rock
and Roll Hall of Fame next month.

The 21st annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony will take place on March
13 in New York at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel.

Artists are eligible to be inducted into the Rock Hall after at least 25
years have passed since their first record was released.

Okay, at least we don't have another collection with "Am I Going Insane
(Radio)" on it, but how the hell does Technical Ecstacy merit two
songs. Unless the point is so that newbies don't have to buy TE after
they go back and buy the first six, I don't see why "Rock 'N' Roll
Doctor" is included.

Another thing: Is it just me or is "Symptom Of The Universe" the best
song on Sabotage? At least they have "Hole In The Sky" instead of
AIGI(R), but still. Well, I guess that's what the two-disc set is for.

Oh well. It's still a pretty good collection. Good call on
"Supernaut".

So, compared to WSOSFR'N'R (US), replace "Tomorrow's Dream" with
"Supernaut", replace "Am I Going Insane (Radio)" with "Hole In The
Sky", drop "Fairies With Boots", add "Rock 'N Roll Doctor", "Never Say
Die", and "Dirty Women". Everything else the same. All remastered.

Good starter for newbies.
