Hey guys,

Someone in alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.heavy-metal posted some tracks
under "New Ozzy 2004"

I gave it a shot and immediately knew it wasn't Ozzy. It does sound a
LOT like Ozzy, and if you sort of go with it, it actually *becomes*
Ozzy. I know that sounds kind of mystical.

This is a Swedish band, evidently, called "Hellfueled". Their entire
album, called "Volume 1" evidently, Sounds a lot like Ozzy's solo
material. The guitarist is very Zakk Wylde, with a smattering of
Randy Rhoades (sp?). (I should know how to spell RR's name, sorry if
it's wrong.)

Occasionally, the riffing is Iommi-ish. There are more than a couple
of nods to Sabbath songs.

I know that a lot of regulars in this group sort of hate threads like
this. I remember getting reamed when I posted links to my own
material a few years ago. But this is not my baby and I am in no way
associated with the band, who are in Sweden. I am in Detroit.

Give it a shot. Or don't. But I thought you guys should know.
