Default Bon Jovi Gold yet - Not even a week its gold

I bet the Bon Jovi album is Gold level sales ranking and it's not even
been a week yet.

Who knows for sure?

DT/RUSH/FW should be mightily embarrassed, in that Bon Jovi caters to
more people, and still maintain absolute artistic control over their
product.

They can satisfy the old adults at 50 years old, while DT/RUSH/FW
can't. hahahaha.

in article 1127798538.716345.3760@g14g2000cwa.googlegroups.co m,

And we should be suprised at this why?

BJ is a great band catering for the pre-pubesant ****y-boppers who like pop
rock and there are far more of them than of us "old folk" who like our music
with depth, feeling and power.

More power to them, the more kiddies who listen to BJ the more young
adults who will move on to propper music.

I'll put the whole album "Keep The Faith" up to anything DT has ever
done, and likely between the two choose KTF, due to it's POWER emotion
driven rhythmic backed songs, DT could only hope to produce something
so catchy yet so strong a song.

to each his own. Most people can't comprehend DT, Rush and prog bands, not
to mention the lack of airtime.

To which of the three newsgroups to which you've cross-posted are you

Here's some of the normal BULLSHIT I write:

It's time to really ****yze the CD and remove the hype normally associated
with a new Bon Jovi release.

If you look at the entire 12 song US release (I don't count the duet with
Jennifer Nettles), there are 2 *very* good songs (Have A Nice Day, Who Says
You Can't Go Home) and two good songs (I Am, Welcome to Whatever You Are).

The rest of the songs are either very average or mediocre ("Novacaine" and
"Story Of My Life" are especially painful). This CD doesn't come close to
the Bon Jovi masterpiece "These Days" or their second best effort "Keep The
Faith".

Given the fact "Crush" wasn't that great, "Bounce" was even worse and the
anniversary release (100,000,000 Bon Jovi Fans Can't Be Wrong") is
unlistenable in spots, one now has to ask themselves - has Bon Jovi lost it?
Are they still capable of producing a CD that the real fans will love
("These Days") even if the critics don't? Are they still capable of
producing a four or five hit CD like "Slippery When Wet" and "New Jersey"?

Or are they going to continue to try and pass off the last three CD's as
"great works of art" and pocket as much money on the road as they can?

The drastic struggle to sell albums for both DT & RUSh is quite factual
yet you're trying to insinuate that's not the case.
