Default ROTD Tour edition

Got the Copy Protected one and don't care cause I got enough players (Car,
DVD player, Portable Players) to play them on. Find it hard to believe that
there are very many people who only have a PC to listen to music.
So as long as it doesn't affect the sound quality of the disc, I'm not
complaining.

Finally got to hear the missing track, TINS. A mystery why they left it off
the first edition (yeah I know, to tease a higher priced market, but
still....)
It's good, very good.

The new version of CQA, well, after 2 listens I still like the original
better, so that's wasn't really necessary IMHO.

Live tracks are ok, but the umpth versions of PS SOTW and HS aren't my cup
of tea. Like the new ones thought.
And TWDG finally got the status it deserved. It's now an OFFICIAL DP studio
track !!

All in all this Tour edition offers more than the Concerto one, but I do
really hope that they aren't makin' a habit of this.

Harrie

Yup, ....the original Concerto release, not the Rotterdam one.
It had a original version and a Tour edition, wich came with SOTW as a
enhanced video track, an extra Steve Morse track and a replica of the tour
poster.

I'm pretty sure the only site that matters will have info on it.

Yup, just as I thought:

"This is the 30th anniversary live performance of Lord's Concerto. It
includes many excellent guests and tracks. There is a video & DVD of the
event, too. Note, however, that there are different versions of this
floating around. The initial US release has an MPEG-video of "Ted The
Mechanic" stacked at the end, while the European one has "Smoke On The
Water". Both of these lack the audio version of "Night Meets Light". Later
releases have no MPEG, but instead the extra audio track, a screensaver as
well as a European tour poster. Limited edition only."

Then they do the playlist thing, and don't mention it as a Tour Edition, so
I walked to the ol' CD stack, and it most definatly says "Tour edition". I
just made a mistake when I said it had the SOTW enhanced track. That was on
the original. The "Tour edition" has a screensaver.
It's also numbered......I got number 11433. Nice cardboardbox, and the extra
Morse track is a beauty....Night Meets Light.

Harrie
