According to TotalRock.com, former IRON MAIDEN frontman Paul
Di'Anno was attacked during his show in Tel Aviv, Israel on Friday (Dec. 10). A crazed fan apparently got onstage, and lashed out at the shaken singer. Fortunately, Di'Anno
suffering only minor injuries, and was able to finish the gig.

Di'Anno performed in Israel as part of the Heavy Metal Monsters melodic metal festival, which is scheduled to conclude tonight (Dec. 11) in Haifa, Israel.

Di'Anno is reportedly playing a very long set consisting of 70 percent IRON MAIDEN songs and 30 percent his own material.

Well, attack or no, him playing 70 % Maiden songs is certainly no surprise.
Has he not milked those years of his life enough yet?

Yes, he have, and he admits it. The problem is, his fans _wants him_ to
play Iron Maiden. Hell, if I ever went to a Di'Anno show, I would have
wanted him to play some of the good old fashion Iron Maiden songs.

them for so long and not to get bored. And it's the reason I do - it

I have looked a bit around and it seems as if Blabbermouth had totally
exagerated that incident.
In fact it seems as if Paul had been insulted by a "fan" after the show, but
there were more than half
a dozen security guards who intervened again

Dianno isnt milking it it - the fact is NOBODY sings those songs any
better....have you ever heard Bruce singing Drifter???.....It ****s big
time!!!!!Not to mention any of the other tracks from the 1st 2 Lps

Couldn't give a toss - he's tried to make a solo career and hasn't the
bravery to stand by his new material and move on from Maiden, mainly because
no one wants to hear it as much as his Maiden material.

20 years of constantly performing 2 albums worth of songs isn't milking it?
