Iron Maiden singer teams with Python
Bruce ****inson, the frontman for metal band Iron Maiden, is teaming up with
Monty Python funnyman Terry Jones.
"The Chemical Wedding," ****inson's first script, is about a scientist whose
attempts to attain the powers of occult master Aleister Crowley. The project
will be made by Jones' new film company, Messiah Pictures, Sky News reports.
The company was created by Jones and director Julian Doyle, who worked with
Jones on the "Monty Python" shows.
But ****inson is not forsaking music for film. Iron Maiden will record the
movie's soundtrack.
"The Chemical Wedding" is expected to begin production soon. Malcolm McDowell
and Roger Daltrey of The Who have been mentioned as possible cast members.
