Anyone see Iron Maiden playing Wildest Dreams on TOTP on Friday? It was
quite a good performance but the size of the stage didn't really do the band
or song justice. In fact, they looked very cramped.

In article <bk001a$lqn$1@newsg1.svr.pol.co.uk>, paul@spam-me-and-
diestudham74.fsnet.co.uk says...

I was flicking through the channels on Sky and thought "ah, they've
moved Kerrang again" then realised I was up in the 900's and it was
TotP.

not bad, sounded a lot better than their last performance, I thought -
though you're right saying they didn't have anywhere near enough room.

It's still fun watching bands like Maden on TotP. You get the dozen or
so true fans grouped together going crazy, and all the other kids trying
desperately to dance to the music with a "WTF?!?!" expression on their
faces.

I'm really surprised at how well the single and album are doing - number
6 in the singles charts, and the album is the second best seller at
play.com (behind The Darkness).

Heavy Metal is truly on the rise.

I missed it. I was in sunny Minehead completely unaware: did they actually
play live this time around?
