Default Rob Interview On New Priest CD

Haha, Kevin, I somehow doubt that everyone knows that.

I'd be willing to bet good money that at least 85% of metalheads will
be learing about Nostradamus (for some that also includes "who he is")
for the first time upon hearing the album.

That's because ToS is better than any IM album after SSoaSS.

I doubt Take on the World would make the setlist. Otherwise those
would all be fine with me. I know they'd have to play BTL no matter
what.

I wouldn't mind them doing it live, as I don't really remember any
official live releases having that song on them. I just don't think they'd pick it.

As I said, I doubt they could do a tour without this song. People
would complain.

Are you trying to say that Metalheads don't know or care about history?

Tom

Supports theory that metalheads are smarter than generally thought.

I'm "trying to say" that they're neither smarter nor more
knowledgeable than any other group of people, for whom this rule would also apply.

Individually, I'd say people in general are smarter than given credit
for (I hate the lame "people are stupid" whine). But en masse,
metalheads are no better than the "stupid people" they berate.

I can see a claim being made for the previous 2 Dickinson albums but IMO all
3 of the Maiden post 2000 albums knock ToS into a cocked hat. Still,
different folks, different strokes and all that.

The thing with Priest is they are doing a few dates on a limited
Nostradomus tour then they will come back with a proper tour where
they won't be playing the whole album. To me it is a totally
different strategy and probably will go down better. I imagine they
will hit areas on the first tour where they sell the most tickets.
