That "milkman" thing was funny!

Kanat a'yam shbab,

Those were the days, my friends (lit. "peoples")

wa 'nal itneen ah'nab

And we two were there

kunya arfeen, a dunya milka 'meen

we two knew the world was ours

dunya nahnal itneen

The world was ours

daqiq nahnal i****.

Time was ours (lit the minutes were ours)

kanat a'yam
kanat a'yam shbab

A version of the Mary Hopkin hit from way back when at DLIWC...

for you and Jimmy, natch, certainly not our song, LOL

arabic. Transliterated since the posting of arabic letters on aml-z would be
really unreadable to most...

In my "mercing" around days, I kept getting and taking assignments in
Spanish speaking countries. Panama, Costa Rica,Mexico, etc. Knew
about eleven words. I couldn't figure it out. Why me, why there? Some
****ing idiot have put that I was fluent in Spanish in my dossier as a
joke. Thank you MI.
