I knew xians hated Marilyn Manson, but this is the most visceral
reaction I've seen so far. Rev. Manson sure is doing a good job.

At first I thought it might be a joke but a Google search on
Johnny Lee Clary turns up a thousand seemingly-legitimate
links, most describing some evangelical tour or his appearance
at some xian church. Here is another hysterical site:

Which Manson, Marilyn or St. Charlie?

I love Charlie, some people even say my obssession with him is unhealthy.
I sent him a postcard once and wrote a letter to the parole board a few
years ago requesting they release him (they didn't), and I have a huge
folder full of photos, songs, spoken word clips, even the crime scene
photos, plus I own the "Family Jams" album which the non-imprisoned
Children performed during the trial, and of course the "Manson Speaks"
double-disc set which contains over 2 hours of Charlie raving away.

Marilyn Manson described how when he was growing up it seemed from
popular culture that the only two people from the 1960s that were
important were Marilyn Monroe and Charles Manson. A dead celebrity
and a serial killer who killed celebrities. That's all people really
care about, so he gave them what they wanted by becoming Marilyn Manson.
