According to a posting on the DEEP PURPLE fan site The Highway Star,
DEEP PURPLE's "California Jam" DVD is now scheduled for a December 2005
release. It will be issued via EMI worldwide except for USA and Japan,
where it come out through Spitfire/Eagle. The DVD will include some
bonus material, such as "Lay Down Stay Down", alternate versions of two
tracks with different camera angles, interview with Ian Paice and Jon
Lord, historical commentary, picture and image gallery, number of audio
options, unseen Super 8mm clips from backstage and the control tower, on
screen histories, etc.

Geez, I thought /I/ was the King of Super Duper Film 8. After awl, I
shot the world's most unique Super 8s going back to 1973, even before
the Days of the Wereo. So my Super 8 Films are even older than the
Wereo.

As far as a DVD goes, am I worried about the Sound QUALITY of any
officially released DVD? Mot on my life I'm mot.

That's because I'm the Only One who MAGNETIZED the California Jam
Experience in the first place, and noone else did. Awl Humanity had ONE
SHOT at the super duper magnetization process, and awl humaity failed.

Only /I/ passed the 3 hour 1974 California Jam Magnetization Test with
Flying, Glorifying and Hellifying Colors.

I'd like to see the Super 8s though. I wonder how long they are, about
half a minute or so?
