Default THE DEVIL WITH RANDY

I'm sure you are right that it would not have been exactly like S.O.D.
In fact I've read on several occasions it was suppose to be one disc
of solo material and one disc of Sabbath. Personally, I would have
loved to hear Randy play the Sabbath stuff, but he was evidently very
against having anything to do with it.

The address to get that book is as follows:

http://www.cherryred.co.uk

There's at least a chapter dedicated to each stage of Ozzy's solo
career with tons of little known facts, or at least new to me. For
example, Joe Holmes was #2 behind Zakk after Jake left the band. And
Testament guitarist Alex Skolnick actually played a gig as Ozzy's new
guitarist, but was immediatly replaced. One more is that George Lynch
was originally given the word that he was Ozzy's next guitarist, but
Jake E Lee showed up late for the audition and took it away from
George. Tons of cool info.....
