Does anyone think that this line off the current David Bowie Album
Heathen has something to do with Pink Floyd ?

In particular with the album "Shine on you Crazy Diamond" ???

That's what a lot of folk thought.
It has to do with THE UNCLE FLOYD SHOW, a television show that originated
in the New York area.

No. According to Bowie, it has to do with Uncle Floyd, the cult TV
personality

Now that sounds interesting, but I think you'd have to put Syds garden on
stage. From what I've read all he does is gardening now. How about ode to a
cedar shrub.

Well you pruned through the cross fire of bin laden and sadam, Cross
pollinated on the lilac breeze.
Come on you green thumb, you horticulturalist of stardom,
Take Bush the madman and why don't you plant him out side

I read a recent article from a guy trying to interview him. He didn't get
very far. There where a couple pictures he looks like a straight old
business man.

really ? iŽd imagine a bearded guy in cord outfit,
fiddling around with a gardening shovel, mumbling
about "those witches behind the strawberries" and
smoking a pipe for three hours (tobacco only).

Steven Sullivan come on down:

So it is! OK, question then is, how the hell did he get to see Uncle Floyd?
He broadcast out of, what was it, WOR in New Jersey? Well, I guess word gets
around.

Smashed out of his mind in US in 1974 and 1976. He could just manage the TV
clicker.
