....and three years later, i have a few questions for you folks.

1. what have we learned from having RATM, Chumbawamba, L. Hill and
others in the major label spotlight? is it worth the compromises? does
an evil medium corrupt the (radical) message?

2. it's been five years since seattle - do you remember the threads
back then? how has our consciousness of what LiP magazine calls
"activistism" changed since then? what about collective consciousness;
how has the proceeding 5 years changed the way people understand global
systems?

3. i hear that another world is possible. but what defined alternatives
are there really? what can suzy q. union member in ohio start doing
tomorrow that will eventually contribute to X? and what is X - what
exactly is the change or reality or set of relationships we want?

or i could just ask about the status of the ng website. who's the
current rapporteur at large? i assume our infrastructure has survived
in subterranean form.

I view it as such, the 'elite' are so arrogant they will carry any message
to the masses as long as their is a higher stock price. The multinational
beast has no soul and lives forever , it is basically immortal.

With the control of the media [fear is the product you sell] I feel the
message is greater than the compromise.Fact is unless RATM was on their
label, their exposure would have been limited.

Ill leave that for someone else....

The problem lies in the elite know exactly what they want. Thats the problem
and their collective action is greater than the 'protest' nature of ours.
Look at how fast RFID and IBM is working to a common goal of chipping the world.
