Graves of the Archangels - Dead Congregation - straight up old school death
metal ala Immolation/Suffocation. Exactly the sort of thing I`ve been really
bored with lately...must have caught me in the right mood this morning
because I enjoyed the hell out of it!

Farsot - III
Drautran - Throne of the Depths - Both of these are old school atmospheric
nasty black metal...enjoyed both for about 3 songs each before tiring of
them.

Forefather - Steadfast - I *really* liked this on first listen today...I
guess it`d be labelled as pagan black metal or something but there`s a lot
of twin guitar melodeath in there as well...plus a few shouty, fist banging
choruses. I`d ( dare I say it ) recommend this to Wyrd if he hasn`t heard it
already...

Dismember - Dismember - always a fun listen although so much like every
other Dismember album I`m getting tired of it quick.

Korpiklaani - Korven Kuningas - tremendously entertaining as always but some
way short of their best. If you like them you`ll like this - if you don`t
you won`t!

S.O.D. - Rise of the Infidels - first time I`ve bothered to listen to this -
something of a cheap cash in, the live album which makes up the bulk of it
is very lo-fi, nowhere near good enough quality for release IMO.

Dark Tranquility - The Gallery
Alestorm - Captain Morgan`s Revenge
Gamma Ray - No World Order
Celtic Frost - Morbid Tales
Overkill - Feel the Fire
Lair of the Minotaur - War Metal Battle Master
Exodus - Bonded By Blood ( this is surely one of the best albums ever...and
*surely* no-one would disagree!?! ).

Agreed. Not nearly as good of a gig as the budokan one.

Destruction - sentence of death/infernal overkill CD (no more
listening to tapes unless I really want to!)
Lair of the Minotaur - War Master Battle Metal (I wanna see these guys
play with HOF and demiricous, it'd be brutal)
Unearthly Trance - Electrocution
V/a - Thrashing Like a Maniac
SSS - s/t (quite late to the boat on this one, but this is way more
hardcore than metal or even crossover)
Leviathan - Massive Conspiracy Against All Life
