SMP (aka Sounds of Mass Production) releases its first video, “This
Perfect Day” from its critically acclaimed album, “Crimes of the
“This Perfect Day,” based on a novel of the same title by Ira Levin,
and a favorite read of SMP’s Jason Bazinet, revisualizes the streets of
Seattle as a dystopic and decaying metropolis where fear and conformity
rule, and emotions are a forbidden luxury. The video was shot on
high-quality DV by Seattle-based independent filmmakers Resonance
Digital Arts, and was directed by Paul J. Furio, formerly of Static
Engine and SMP.
