Twisted sister use to rock out this place and I rember it quite well
Hammerheads was opened in old department store called Billy blacks after it
closed and sported 80 foot wide stages side by side 2 70 foot bars shaped
like old sailing ships were in the middle and to the back a large ocupuss
which held the dj booth and behind a small bar that use to open with 25 cent
drinks so the small bar could fill up to 200 capacity so when the main part
opened it did not look totaly dead as the main part had a fire code limit of
over 1000 people and on certain night they max it out
I rember one nite one of the 4 main bands that played here had there
equipment stolen so Twisted sister the good rats southern cross and zebra
all played here one night for one of the best twisted concert ever
