According to the LA Superior Court website, Diamond Dave has dropped his
lawsuit against the Van Halen brothers. What does this mean? Hmm...
1. They have reconciled their differences. (Nah)
2. They have settled out of court. (Doubt it)
3. DLR has spent all his cash on pot and can't pay his attorney. (Possible)
4. DLR has found out that after EVH's impending divorce he will be less than
worthless. (Even more possible)
5. After finally putting out a decent album DLR has decided to toss out the
old VH security blanket. (Could be)
6. EVH offered to 'consider' working with DLR if he dropped the suit. (He
did say we would hear from them soon. 1 1/2 years ago!)

It wasn't "settled" it was withdrawn.


He hadn't made it to 10,000 copies sold last time I saw the figures.

I think some variation on (3) is the most likely.
