Haven't seen the movie yet. Any mention of Van Halen in the movie or
are they like Rolling Stone and putting Ed's influence near the bottom
of the list?

What does Edward have to do with rock? Its like mentioning your name and the
words "sense of humor" in the same sentence.

Good point. Much like you and 'human being'. Or like citing those
with lives and then mentioning you. It's just paradoxical. But
mention the word 'penis' and only Motel 6 is really worthy of such
lingo. Quick! Your Mariah Carey 'best of' is almost done burning....
pop it in and enjoy.

Eddie has lots more to do with rock than someone like Steve Vai ever
will! Influences are obvious in everyone from Vitto Bratta to Mr. Vai.!

Deal with it.

Zappa and Hendrix? Nigga pleaz. Sorry, but it don't show in Stevie's
playin'. Hendrix used tremolo bar to a point and never really finger
tapped. Zappa was not into either technique as well.

Yeah, I don't see what all the buzz about this movie is. I find Jack Black to
be extremely juvenile and very annoying. Also the songs in this movie I have
heard over and over again throughout the years. That said, "School of Rock" is
not at the top of my 'movies to see' list.

Jack Black made me chuckle for about 5 minutes. He jumped the shark a
long time ago.
