They have issues with SEEING.

They seem to think all photography is a kind of "EXPOSURE".

They treat all photography as PORNOGRAPHY, as in, "I saw the pictures
of your clothes". They treat all images as a mind contamination of sorts.

You can read essays about this attitude going back to the nineteenth
century, there is quite a lot of documentation about anti-photography
attitudes.

Before that, it was painting - Renaissance art and portrait painting.

The Romans had similar issues. Something about seeing
something, seeing the substance of things. They want veils.

I mean, treating a picture of a shoe or something as if it is some
forbidden thing.

Another stranger might see the same picture and not feel the least bit
troubled by it. Why? BECAUSE HE DOESN'T HAVE A HIDDEN AGENDA.

It's not that you SAW this or that, it's that YOU HAVE A HIDDEN AGENDA.
