Job Functions: Hospitality/Tourism - Position Summaryesigns,
supervises, coordinates and participates in activities of cooks
and other kitchen personnel in a small account. This position is
recognized as the technical expert, teacher and trainer for other
chefs and cooks within the account. Selects and develops recipes
and other items for clients. Develops menu, implements and trains
HACCP, oversees/purchases food, establishes production levels and
inventory controls, interviews and hires new chefs,
manages/controls food cost issues and offer solutions. May cook
selected items, and plan or price menus. Typically has chefs and
cooks reporting to this position. Typical Knowledge and
SkillsKnowledge of HACCP. Knowledge of food and equipment safety.
Knowledge of food production. Management skills. Client and
customer interfacing skills. catering / sales presentation
skills.Typical EducationCulinary degree requiredTypical Related
Experience2-4 yearsRequired Degree / CertificationN/A Sodexho has
an immediate opportunity for a traveling manager. This position
is a temporary position which will eventually lead to a permanent
assignment. It will require travel, some of which may be
overnight within the Southeast States of Tennessee, North
Carolina, South Carolina, Ge****a, Alabama and Mississippi.
Candidate should reside in one of these locations. This is a full
time position with a competitive salary, benefits and living
expenses. The ideal candidate should be energetic, flexible and
have a sense of adventure
