Description: Responsibilities:

*Provide support to the Investment Accounting Manager by assisting in the review of daily, weekly and monthly investment accounting operations for a group of Investment Companies
*Help maintain the controls set forth by management in verification of the funds NAV (Net Asset Value), dividends, cash projections, various reconciliations, yields, and procedures checklists
*Evaluate employee performance and assist in training new and existing personnel
*Substitute for Investment Accounting Manager as necessary and maintain ongoing communications with client
*Prepare and review monthly financial statements and shareholder reports
*Analyze performance reporting and audit analysis
*Review industry concentration workpapers and expense summaries
*Coordinate accounting and operating activities with each fund’s specific investment advisor, custodian and transfer agent
*Assist in the preparation of special accounting studies and statistical reports as requested
*Perform accounting operations as needed

Requirements:
*Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Economics with a minimum of 9 accounting credits
*A minimum of two years of experience in Investment Accounting or Public Accounting
*Strong experience with IAS, InvesTier, Word, Excel and Lotus Notes
*Ability to take a lead role and monitor a small work group

Additional Preferred Skills:
*Experience working with Alternative Investments is highly desired for some positions
*Ability to analyze results and determine patterns of operating performance
*Ability to identify, measure and suggest alternate resolution for frequently occurring problems
