Description: •Manage all customer inquiries to successful resolution. Provide immediate resolution to inquiries at the point of contact.
•Effectively communicate messages, timely product information and/or specific offers to physicians, health care staff and/or customers via outbound teleservice according to specific IC outbound initiatives.
•Escalate calls as appropriate.
•Follow and suggest improvements to AstraZeneca’s policies in response to customer needs.

•Experience providing medical information and customer service to healthcare professionals over the phone strongly preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to provide world-class customer service.
•Demonstrated competency using information technology, PCs and databases.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The TAS is a customer-focused individual who serves as the primary resource for customers contacting the Information Center regarding products and services. They effectively communicate, via telephone, e-mail and written communication, specific product and/or disease state information. They utilize their excellent communication and organizational skills while working independently in a call center environment. They must be able to build rapport with customers, establishing and maintaining customer relationships, while responding to customer inquiries. The variety of subjects handled is extensive e.g., product information, pricing, patient education materials, product quality complaints, adverse experiences and more. Additionally, the TAS may contribute to Information Center outbound initiatives, making contact with customers to deliver specific messages and/or offer samples, literature or other services to physicians and health care staff. While interacting with customers, the Brand Specialists wear headsets and sit at a computer for extended periods of time.
Major Responsibilities:

ADDITIONAL: Hours: M-F 8:30-4:45; contractor may ONLY work 37.5 hours per week unless otherwise instructed.

Bachelors degree in the health sciences required. Prefer a nurse or a pharmacist. Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing or pharmacy.
