~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Systems Engineer - Candidates must possess strong leadership and
communications skills in: (1) leading and directing teams in
addressing and solving complex problems, (2) effectively
interfacing with customers and (3) developing effective working
relationships with business development and program management
personnel. Experience in leading systems engineering activities
on large complex communications and information processing
systems is required. Technical breadth should cover developing
system architectures, system concepts, performing architectural
and system level trade studies, concepts of operations, system
designs, requirements definition & allocation, risk
identification and mitigation, CAIV analysis, LCC analysis and
legacy system migration/transition approach development for
advanced communications and information processing systems.
Candidates should be experienced with current system engineering
best practices and architecture framework methodologies, modern
system engineering and modeling tools, and the use and
integration of COTS products (including DII/COE segments) into
system level solutions.

Qualifications: Master?s degree in Electrical Engineering,
Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related or equivalent
experience is required. Must have excellent proposal writing,
presentation, and customer interaction skills. Broad engineering
background that covers systems, software, and information
engineering. Domain knowledge in the following areas: evolving
network technologies including QoS, Ad Hoc networking, network
management, network security and networking protocols,
Architecture frameworks (architecture for evolution, layered
architecture, technology transparency, etc.). This position
requires a security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
