Description: This position is subject to the Services Contract Act / Wage Determination.

This is a Part Time position with an average of 15 hours per week..

Required: Associates Degree in Electronics or the equivalent trade school or military schools. Proficiency in the use of schematic drawings and block diagrams as well as electronic test equipment is required. Two years electronics maintenance, troubleshooting experience with repairs to the component level. Familiarity with problem analysis of audio, AC/DC circuits, personal computers, peripherals, pneumatics and hydraulics is preferred.

Candidate must meet all requirements for, and be able to obtain a SECRET security clearance.

Candidate must be willing to work any shift, weekends and overtime. Position may require occasional travel. Primary work location will be in MCBH Kaneohe, HI.

Applies technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions. Performs such tasks as replacing components and wiring circuits; repairing simple electronic equipment; and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multimeters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes.

Receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher level technician. Work is spot-checked for accuracy. Comparable military training or 4 years of directly related work experience may be substituted for degree. Entry-level job, no specific experience requirements.
