We are looking for a highly skilled software engineer with solid mobile telecommunications networking knowledge. Previous experience developing features for an IS41 over SS7 protocol network is optimal. Experience with the Internal EMX2500 is also desired. Job function and desired skills are listed below: Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations Active participation in the full scope of software development. Design, Code, and Test software for the VLR Software projects 1) Write specifications based on requirements 2) Design (object-oriented design) Cellular Networking software 3) Code (C++), C, Java 4) Create test plans and test scripts 5) Participate in reviews of reqs, design, code and test plans. 6) Executing unit and sub-system level tests 7) Support deployment to customer sites Specific Knowledge/Skills BSCS required Strong C++, and OO Design experience essential Unix Rational Rose Clearcase Experience with networking protocols, specifically IS41/SS7, a strong plus Experience developing cellular telecom applications a plus Team oriented software development experience.
