Negotiable Description ----------- Design and implement FPGA modules according to specified functionality, with minimal supervision. When provided with a functional specification, engineer will be responsible for the design and delivery of a fully debugged and working FPGA implementation, autonomously. Delivery includes a design specification. Skill Set: * Minimum 7 yrs. experience in FPGA design and implementation * Designing from functional description * Generation of design specification * Experience with design tools o Verilog (VHDL is a plus as well) o Synthesizers (i.e., Synplicity, Leonardo, Synopsis) o Xilinx design tools (design manager, PAR, ...) o RTL simulators: Modelsim * Experienced in testbench design for verification * Analyze synthesis and FPGA place-and-route reports (i.e. timing constraint analysis) * Experience with lab debug o Logic Analyzer o Oscilloscope.
