Mechanical Design Project Engineer

This position is responsible to design, develop and test process
equipment used in the production of fiber cement.
You will also design equipment or systems of diverse/difficult
scope and complexity for projects using a variety of engineering
principles from mechanical, chemical, electrical, or other
engineering disciplines.

Develops conceptual and detailed designs by ****yzing or creating
equipment specifications, performance requirements, and existing
manufacturing capability.

Performs diverse and complex design, fabrication, modification,
and evaluation of mechanical or electromechanical components,
subsystems, and systems by applying engineering principles and
developing new or unique ****ysis tools as required.

Determines feasibility of designing new equipment or modifying
existing equipment considering technical and economic factors,
available resources, time constraints, and company vision.

Applies advanced ****ytical methods, creating design solutions,
and establishing engineering plans.

Able to interpret engineering data and prepare engineering
deliverables, work on capitol projects, budgets and scheduling,
mechanical specifications, piping and material specs, equipment
specs, review quotes from vendors, excellent communication


QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree (BS) in Mechanical Engineering
Very Good Communicator, and have good people skills
Hands on Mechanical experience in a manufacturing plant
5+ years of related experience
Ability to solve a wide range of difficult problems in
imaginative and practical ways and evaluate alternative solutions
that may require coordination across multiple teams.
Ability to work on technical problems of diverse scope and
complexity where ****ysis and evaluation of various outcomes
require tradeoffs.
Ability to assess and redirect engineering efforts in a
continually changing environment.
