Genesis 10 seeks a Analyst/Developer for a 4 month contract
position beginning ASAP. Senior Application Analyst / Developer
for the POS systems support and small projects group.
Application support and small project activity Acquires and
maintains in-depth knowledge of one or more functional/business
systems or applications. Works closely with customer
representatives to define application solutions that meet
business needs. Communicates application requirements to project
team members. Completes high level designs for new or existing
systems. Identifies critical dependencies of the system. Provides
business and application consultation for project and support
teams. A senior level person is the most experienced, with the
widest range of experience in various size and types of projects
that are relevant to the role. Typically 5 to 8 or more years in
the role would be expected. Minimal training provided.
Candidate should be able to make an immediate impact.Strong
Analytical and Development Experience. Development environment:
Mainframe and Client Server. Specific skills required: PL1, JCL,
SAS, Tablebase, VB. The following is a listing of tools,
technology and experience desired in supporting POS Systems:

experience .Strong analysis and problem solving skills .Strong
communication, organization and interpersonal skills .Ability to
establish and maintain positive relationships and to work
effectively in a team environment .High degree of initiative and
self-motivation, self starter .Systems experience desired .Must
be able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
