Regional Disaster Recovery & Security Coordinator - Iowa

Impact Innovations Group has an immediate opening for a client in Iowa who is looking to add a Regional Disaster Recovery and Security Manager to their IT management team. This client is among the largest manufacturers and suppliers of mobile hydraulics in the world today, with more than 7000 employees in the USA, Europe and Asia. You must be legal authorized to work in the USA. There is no relocation package for this position, so candidates must already be in the Ames, Iowa local or be willing to pay for their own relocation costs. Salary will be based on education & years of applicable experience, and is competitive in the Iowa market.

Required Skills:
Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience with hands on security administration, security audit, security architecture & design, participation in disaster recovery planning and testing.

Desired Skills:
Prior management skills, and/or enterprise wide disaster recovery and security responsibilities are preferred.
Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Information Technology preferred.

Relevant Information
In this role you will be responsible for the creation, maintenance and testing of disaster recovery plans regionally. You will provide input to the data back-up process to ensure data can be restored in the event of a recovery. Security overview and administration will include administration of anti-virus, SPAM, Active Directory security policies, conduct internal security audits and continue to maintain and update security awareness program. In addition you will be the backup support in the European IT organization and will be responsible for weekly communication with European counterparts to discuss and ensure the standards are followed globally. Management responsibilities will require that you develop, write, acquire approval of and distribute IT policies, while working with IT management and HR.
