Description

SAP R/3 basis administrator role will support and manage the SAP R/3 systems.
The role will work with the environment management team to setup and administer the SAP systems.
This includes the Sandbox, Development, System test/Conversion environments. The role will require

Experience with SAP R/3 4.6C support and administration
Monitor SAP development systems and work with the infrastructure team to apply changes as required
Understand application architecture for SAP (printing, security, faxing, EP5, etc.)
Detailed understanding of R/3 basis environment and support tools (CCMS, TMS, etc.).
Administer SAP environments (installations, tuning, troubleshooting, etc.)
Maintain client/instance strategy across the development systems
Experience applying hot packages and submitting OSS Notes to SAP for problem resolution
Experience with how to install, configure and manage Citrix terminal server
Skilled with HPUX, NT, Oracle and Windows 2000
Preferred experience with Remedy Help Desk system
Provide on-call pager support
Do***ent procedures for basis services provided by the basis team
Provide leadership and training to other team members

- Applying OSS notes and hot packages
- SAP spool management
- Oracle database management
- Answering Basis calls/Remedy Queue and providing problem support
- On-call pager basis support
- Interfacing with Dayton Data center and the Application Maintenance team to address change management issues
- Providing leadership to ****ysts with training and mentoring
