Technical Knowledge (tools & systems)
1. Ability to use advanced IT tools or processes to exchange information along the supply chain (SAP APO, R/3 and BW).

Business Knowledge
1. Understanding of how lead-times, demand variability and supplier delivery variability impacts inventory/supply positioning. Ability to gather this information and at times complete this type of analysis.
2. Ability to understand logistics processes, transit issues and the relationship these variables play in the planning process and how they may or may not impact supply positioning and responsiveness.
3. Ability to understand the financial risk and costs associated with long lead-times, information lags and other supply chain policies and structures.
4. Broad, in-depth knowledge of Customer needs and Business strategies with corresponding understanding of Marketing, Finance & Operational strategies/plans to achieve them.

Facilitation, Leadership & Communications Skills
1. Ability to be proactive in delivering the right information at the right time to the right parties to speed decision making and operational excellence.
2. Ability to align nodes of the system on planning processes, information flows, key decision points and other key process disciplines.
3. Ability to facilitate a process to deal with constrained supply, working across finance and marketing to optimize Internal's business performance.

Analysis Skills
1. Ability to relate supply positioning to Internal's business objectives (i.e. profit over share, share over profit, positioning Internal for long term success, etc.).
2. Ability to assess risk in the supply chain, highlight that risk with factual data and analysis and make recommendations, develop triggers and contingencies to mitigate and manage that risk.
3. Ability to relate inventory supply plans to market growth, internal market growth and overall internal marketshare expectations and impacts to financial objectives (i.e. Apsire, etc.).
4. Ability to do scenario planning to evaluate a range of alternatives, working cross functionally to make supply recommendations and ability to do what if analysis.
6. Ability to recognize missing information from other functions that will impact key decision points.

Relationship Building & Teamwork Effectiveness Skills
1. Establishes effective networks across Marketing, Finance & Operations, geographies & organizational levels and structures by identifying key decision makers and establishing a regular means of communication and on-going relationships with them to take the lead in providing information, analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts & meeting business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience: Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of directly related experience; or Master's degree plus 3 years directly related experience; or combination of experience and education.
