Our client is looking for a strong SAP FICO Business Systems Analyst to join their team on a full time basis.

Basic Functions:


Provide research, analysis, design, and recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements. Act as a direct interface with business user community in problem solving and support. Where appropriate, assume role of project manager to execute priorities endorsed by the Process Leadership Council, as well as discretionary projects requested by individual business units. Maintain current application systems by providing support to the user community and rolling out enhancements and upgrades as operational projects.


Responsibilities:


Functional Knowledge

Responsibilities include: Extensive experience and Proven ability to provide SAP configuration expertise and functional support to a user community in the manufacturing industry.

Must have participated in two or more full SAP R3 implementations/upgrades.
Systems analysis, business requirements definition, process design, configuration, testing, documentation, implementation of process enhancements, system support, client/user interaction, and adherence to project management methodologies.


Analyze business issues and develop or recommend efficient and effective solutions through process changes, detailed design, coding/configuration, testing, implementation and documentation activities. Must be able to translate business requirements into technical specifications for programmer/technical contractors.


Employ TSG project management methodologies, delivering timely project estimates and plans. Track project progress through the lifecycle of the projects.


Responsible for creating and maintaining documentation on key business scenarios and related process procedures, unit testing, and coordination of end user testing before promoting enhancements/modifications to production environment.


Support


Provide support as assigned for the on-going operation and maintenance of a business application system.


Provide direct support and guidance to business user community with functional application issues and application system problems. Coordinate appropriate resources to resolve problems in a timely fashion. Clearly and concisely document issues, resolutions and process changes.


Develop and perform test plans to assure system quality to meet user expectations.


Training


Coordinate training and related documentation requirements with TSG Customer Care training team and provide feedback where appropriate to ensure quality delivery.

Must Responsibilities:


Proven experience in analysis, defining and documenting business requirements, process design, configuration/programming, testing, documentation, and implementation of business process enhancements in enterprise-wide business system applications.


Proven experience in providing system support and direct contact with clients/users to solve issues with business applications.


Extensive experience within project team environment and project management methodologies.


Excellent conceptual, analytical, interpersonal, and teamwork skills; and the potential to enhance facilitation and leadership skills.


Must work well in a team environment with matrix relationships with various teams and process councils.

Willing to travel 5-15% on average, or sometimes longer depending on project requirements.


Bachelor*s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Marketing, or Business Administration, with three years of applicable business experience.


Preferred Requirements


Masters degree in business administration.


Extensive experience with SAP R/3 FI/CO. Will consider extensive experience with several of the following:

PA - Profitability Analysis

GL - General Ledger

CCA - Cost Center Accounting

PCA - Profit Center Accounting

TR/TM - Treasury Management

AM - Asset Management or Fixed Asset Management

AR - Accounts Receivable

AP - Accounts Payable

PC - Product Costing


Must have participated in two or more full SAP R3 implementations/upgrades.


Experience with SAP Business Warehouse (BW and BEX).
