Negotiable Description ----------- PCB Designer 5 (+) years experience in printed circuit design. Certificate or associate degree in electronics required. Understanding of what PCB design features affect cost in the fabrication process. Demonstrated knowledge PCB Commodity Design metrics. Demonstrated knowledge of PCB design best practices for manufacturability. Be familiar with PCS products and the different product platforms. General knowledge of Internal businesses. Demonstrate that Design Architect can be effectively applied for the purpose of making changes to existing schematics. Demonstrate that Mentor Graphics Board Station can be affectively applied for the purpose of designing non-complex printed circuit boards with minor supervision. Taken training in "To Specctra routing for wireless products". Demonstrated ability with Specctra to autoroute complex development and test boards with constraints. Proficient with Valor for design verification. Demonstrated ability of using the LMS to submit new parts and ECR's. Understanding of where the PCB technology files are and how to read them into the design technology file. Demonstrated ability in process for transferring files to manufacturing and Metaphase. Understanding of Overall design process and key milestones. Understanding of how the approval process works and what metrics need approval. Understanding of how PCB design files are archived using present process (new process is not determined). Demonstrated ability to manipulate files in a Windows environment. Demonstrate understanding of MCL standards and J03 specifications. Be able to create ECR's for library updates. Be able to effectively apply Outlook, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to achieve the requirements of your job. Understanding of the 4E's + 1 and how they can be applied to your daily work responsibilities and relationships.
