PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specify, design, implement, do***ent, release, and support embedded system products for the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) products group.
Lead multiple, concurrent, embedded design projects from specification through implementation, validation, do***entation, regulatory certification, release, and maintenance.
Provide accurate and timely project status reports.
Participate in systems ****ysis, specifications, and architecture design.
Ensure on-time project completion, manufacturability, cost effectiveness, and compliance to company, customer, and industry specifications and standards.
Lead a group of pooled technical resources in a matrix organization structure.
Improve staff skills, efficiency, and productivity.
Some travel required.
7 years overall experience in embedded systems design and project management.
Proven track record of leadership in a team-oriented environment.
Proven track record with multiple concurrent projects and complete product life cycle.
Experience with product specification, systems ****ysis, digital hardware design, and microprocessor-based controller design, and firmware design.
Experience with C/C++, assembly, real time operating systems, VHDL, programmable logic, oscilloscopes, and microprocessor emulators.
Experience with LAN/ Ethernet communications.
Recent experience with regulatory certification.
Well organized, goal-oriented, focused, and self-motivated.
Able to meet project deadlines and perform with minimal supervision.


Working knowledge of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID).
Experience with quality assurance.
Experience with DSP design, ****og design, and RF design.
Experience with logic ****yzers and circuit simulation.
