Additionally, provides Project manager*s role to large and complex projects. Responsibilities *Understand Information Systems strategy and how it supports the business strategy *Play a key role in the design of application architecture to support the Information Systems strategy *Use Information Systems standards to apply advanced technology and tools in the analysis, design, development and support of business solutions for high complexity application systems by: -Analyzing business requirements -Developing design specifications and test plans to meet business requirements -Configuring applications to meet design specifications -Implementing applications to meet business requirements -Supporting production applications (on-call problem resolution) *Act as a technical advisor in the design or selection of new application systems *Highest level of technical knowledge of advanced technology, business applications, development methodology, programming languages, databases, operating systems related to the area *Expert knowledge of business area being supported *Excellent team player and leadership skills *Self-directed and motivated *May have people management responsibilities for small staff performance appraisals, recommendations and merit and promotions, and other administrative duties Education/Experience Minimum of 6-10 years progressive experience in the IT environment with at least 3 years experience with SAP HR Benefits, PA/PD and Compensation modules. System professional with strong technical skills coupled with functional experience in HR related disciplines. Bachelor*s degree in a related field is preferred, but not required. MBA is desirable.
