Description: Over View: Effectively coordinate and initiate increased sales activity within assigned, established accounts. Experience should include solid, high-volume customer service and coordination within an IT or related environment with experience within a quota based sales environment strongly desired. Approximately 50% of this position is telephone oriented while the remaining 40% is detail and follow up activities related to increasing business, extending contracts, gathering systems information for testing and do***entation processes and/or answering billing and AR questions as well as troubleshooting existing accounts as required. 25% minimum of face to face client contact on an as needed basis.
- Cultivate, manage, and provide high end sales and service to an assigned base of accounts throughout an assigned sales region.
- Maintain the client relationship, insuring that all assigned accounts have adequate information availability coverage, and ultimately be responsible for customer satisfaction.
- Increase revenue stream through the sale of additional products and services.
- Develop and execute direct marketing programs.
- Manage the communication and internal coordination of SunGard customer and operations the resolution of any issues or problems related to subscriber testing.
- Manage the account base accounts receivable activity in a collaborative approach with AR department.
- Arrange and attend client tours at the assigned center as needed.
- Min of 30% travel will be required as needed.
Requirements:
- Degree or work equivalent required.
- Min of 2 years of applicable work experience required.
- Exceptional problem solving and customer service skills are required – must be problem solution driven and results focused.
- Ability to influence customer account expansion and retention with compelling value propositions over the phone while balancing daily activity and workflow relative to account coordination
- Previous volume customer responsibilities highly preferred.
- Must possess a technical aptitude that will support expanded knowledge and ability to present to customers in managed services, high availability solutions, telecom, consulting andhardware/software solution products and service
- Previous successful sales experience preferred.
- Must be willing and able to work independently.
- Ability to review and understand contracts and AR schedules.
- Negotiation skills are strongly preferred.
- PC skills helpful ( Microsoft,Word, Excel, Power Point, Lotus Notes).
