Electrical Engineer - #3009<br> <br> As an Electrical Engineer,
this individual will need to be experienced as an Electrical
Design Engineer with experience in FPGA and embedded processing
design development that is capable of participating in “proof of
concept” or early-stage R&D projects, as well as, designing
engineered products. Must have thorough knowledge of and
experience in digital design methods including FPGA's design
using VHDL, 8/16-bit microcontroller firmware development
(assembly language and C) printed circuit board/panel design
including both custom and COTS hardware. Initial project includes
participating in the development and embedded systems to increase
the reliability and miniaturize existing systems. The level V or
VI engineer will be the responsible for all aspects of their
project including participating in design review, maintain
schedules, assembly and testing plans, cross functional design
teams. The position requires the ability to interface with
external and internal customers on a technical basis and direct
members of the technical staff.<br> SSY Eligible, Photonics <br>

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Minimum requirements include a BSEE with 5 or more years of
experience. Experience includes three plus years FPGA
programming experience, as well as, three plus years embedded
system design. The ability to work extended hours is required.
The ability to obtain a security clearance is required.<br> <br>
Desired qualifications include a MS or PhD in Electrical
Engineering, as well as, experience in working with aviation
based systems and laser control systems.<br> <br>
