LM611-3581<br> Responsible for the installation, repair,
preventive maintenance, technical support, operations and
training support to users of PCs (personal computers) and related
systems. Makes any repairs to components and equipment that can
be done in-house.<br> Performs complex installations, upgrades,
and backups of software and hardware applications. Perform
repair and preventive maintenance. Sets up and tests complex
personal computer (PC) systems and hardware components and
provides repair and test capability for all company departments.
Provides general hardware and software support to users of PCs.
Assists and provides training for users having problems with
software. Troubleshoots software and hardware failures and
identifies network problems when they relate to PCs. Determines
methods or techniques to ****yze and test failed equipment.
Performs hardware diagnostics and coordinates repairs.<br>
Configures operating systems. Responsible for observing all laws,
regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and
whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established
operating procedures and practices. Additional Functions may
include assisting in planning and designing PC support systems.
May work the help desk and provide telephone support or arrange
for service of trouble calls to users. May evaluate priorities,
establish schedules and provide guidance for all PC Technicians.
Involves significant customer interface. Other duties as assigned
or required.<br>

Minimum Qualifications:<br> Associate's degree or equivalent
including college-level computer courses. May substitute
equivalent experience in the field. Typical minimum experience
is one to three years. Requires thorough knowledge of PC
operating systems and peripheral equipment with the ability to
determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Excellent
customer relations skills with the ability to train users on
complex applications. Complete acquaintance with and
understanding of computer products, equipment, procedures,
principles, and processes. Assignments are complex in nature,
where considerable judgment and initiative are required in
resolving problems and making recommendations. May require
possession of a current driver's license with proof of
insurability.<br>
