Description: Architects and implements high-availability clusters on all production systems.Works with the software development team to develop SQL coding standards and quality procedures and database architectures. Implements and maintains a database change control and testing process for modifications to production databases. Responsible for documentation, monitoring and maintenance of all production jobs. Build, document and maintain Extract, Transformation and Load (ETL) components for the EDW, according to established architectural standards. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of data entering the EDW. Observe established quality control standards for component manufacture, implementation and maintenance. Bachelor's degree required or an equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 5 years of previous experience working with SQL servers required in an administration role. Previous experience dealing with high traffic environments, architecting, building, installing and configuring SQL servers, performance tuning and troubleshooting databases. Previous experience designing schemas for high-availability, complex applications. Web applications experience strongly desired. Microsoft certification required. Experience with High Availability Database architectures including Microsoft Cluster, Log shipping, replication and Storage area networks.
