US-GA-ATLANTA: Network Services Engineer

Description: The Network Services Engineer maintains and improves the
existing LAN/WAN networks for development and production environments
employing zero downtime methodology. Candidates should demonstrate an
extensive working knowledge of networking strategy and technology trends.
This position requires participation in hardware and software design reviews
and technical meetings; the ability to research and recommend appropriate
architecture and solutions, determining cost and schedule impacts,
presenting final deliverables and the ability to fully implement solutions.
Additional responsibilities include negotiating vendor contracts and SLAs,
maintaining software version control, hardware purchasing and warranty
maintenance coverage.

Qualified candidates will have 10+ years of experience in a technology
related environment and a working technical knowledge of the following: MS
Windows 2000 Advanced Server, routers, layer3 switches, clustering, IP load
balancing, VPNs, firewalls, MS Active Directory, Exchange Server 5.5 - 2000,
CA-ArcServe, Ghost, Dell Precision Server Hardware, PERL, LINUX, intrusion
detection and host protection tools, JAVA, Oracle 9i.
