POSITION/OPPORTUNITY: <br>We have an opportunity for an
experienced building materials sales representative to promote
exterior fiber cement siding, Hardiplank, to contractors. Working
from a home office, this individual will be responsible for
working with our repair and remodel construction channel partners
and growing the territory. Will be responsible for developing
business plans and implementing these plans to capture business
within the area. Will call on builders, contractors and
distributors to cultivate relationships, coordinate customer
training, identify opportunities and increase sales. Will make
product and installation presentations with prospective/existing
customers and distribution partners. Installation requires the
hands-on application of siding, trim, soffit and fascia products
at the jobsite. This individual is responsible for submitting
timely reports to his/her Sales Manager regarding competitive
information, pricing, distribution, new business and customer
data. We are in a high growth mode so this is not a maintenance
position - you build the business! <br><br>SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
<br>Must have three plus years successful sales experience in
building materials to the remodeling contractor business segment
or equivalent Remodeling contractor experience, excellent
communication and sales skills and ability to travel required.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and possess
computers skills -Microsoft Office and email. Must have good
formal presentation skills, demonstrate problem solving, good
interpersonal skills and be a team player. BA/BS degree
preferred. <br><br>COMPENSATION: <br>We offer a competitive
